Overstaying in Qatar
By buyeronline •
Hi,
Any advice for my friend who just confess to me that he is not currently employed to the company that promised him to process his working visa but after 11 months now still no action from the company.
Can you guys give us some ideas on what steps we should take. Cause I am thinking of seeking a legal action from the Labor Department or going to a attorney or any other relevant offices to this case.
Thank you,
My advice is first try to convince the employer to process your visa as soon as possible. late sallary does not matter. Also inform the employer that you are illegal resident now and will be problem if any emergeny exit required. Also inform the employer with very soft words that if action not taken then you will be left with no option but to consult labor department.
Thanks Aisha, my friend tried so many times already. The Qatari employer will just end up saying "just don't worry we will process your visa". But we cannot wait no more, their company is not stable and very late salaries. Maybe we'll just seek advice from the Labor Department or an Attorney for this cause now technically my friend is an illegal resident here.
Thanks

Hello dear ,i would advise u to go straight to the comapany ask them first and talk to them why they are so late ?then if there is no action after that go straight to the Department of Labor to make a complain against them.
