Help!! How to stop severe hair fall

boy-next-door
By boy-next-door

I know this topic has been beaten to a pulp, so to speak. But my problem is not Male Pattern Baldness (Alopecia) which is genetic and can't be stopped, for now. I'm starting to lose much more than the normal amount of hair that falls every day. Does anyone out there know or is using some home remedy to stop hair fall? Please share. I'm worried that if it continues, it will result to something like this:

Hi Jason, thanks for sharing. It's insightful. Honestly, I didn't even know that this profession exists.

I have had a quick retrospect about the past. There wasn't any trauma but then I've been soooo much stressed at work. As mentioned by the others earlier, stress can be a cause of hair loss. Now it's being confirmed.

Again, thanks to all for the invaluable suggestions.

stress or mal nutrients are a common cause related to hair loss scalp problems, try to find a tricologist they will be more inform than a dermatologist on these matters, I woke up once and my hair hair practically gone my was alopecia and although not herditry it stemmed from an accident 6months prior as the way hair folicles grow is slow and when the body takes nutrients the hair is the first place it goes to, thus when the hair breaks through the scalp the strands are not strong enough to hold the remaining hair resulting in the loss so maybe think back a few months and see if there was any trauma or mass stress in your life, usually hair growth is cycled so hopefully for you like mine it will grow back

I was advised by my tricologist though that no lotions or potions will help only time and a stress less and well balanced diet approach

the best way to stop massive hair loss is to shave your head. You are guaranteed to no longer have massive hair loss. Not only will you save huge amounts of money by not trying every "home" remedy, and dermatologist visit, you will save even more on shampoo.

@arunkannoth For now, I don't think it's something like that. But I'll go to one if nothing else works. Thanks.

(P.S. I'll also ask for reimbursement from Motiv8er for the Evian)

@Motiv8er That's informative man. Good to know the difference :-D

This seems to be more of fungal infection. Get in touch with a dermatologist asap.

Glamshine I owe you one. Thanks for the details. Now I will try to avoid being stressed if possible.

Motiv8er LOL The other cells are active and alive. So let's concentrate on the hair cells :)

Boy - if your not there you will be eventually. so do it before it happens completely. Try Qatar Hair centre..they seem to have some process to wake up the dead..hair cells I mean.

Stress is main common reason of hair fall problem, water, and food we intake..using of such hair creams gel or shampoo can cause hair fall too but only in limited case.

Genetic or family inheritance is somehow a reason also..

My advice is don't use the shower instead a plastic pail to pour in to use when taking shower mix the shampoo with little water in your hand before applying starting at the back of your head ,use only normal temperature of water.

Buy such a hair energizing like Shiseido Adenogen to massage in your scalp morning and evening it will help alot since it contains adenosine ingredient to soften the pore of each and every hair shalf it also moisturize the skin of the scalp and help the new hair growth to be strong and healthy..FGF7 is a normal cycle as we reach the age of 26 and above which means hair is so fine and unhealthy due to lifestyle, stress and environmental polution effect..

just try this and see the result if not then consult a dermatologist doctor...

Motiv8er I bought a filter for the shower so I thought it would almost be like bottled water. Evian will cost a small fortune :)

Prism Thanks man. That's exactly what I need. Some proven personal/home remedy. Because I have actually tried some medication before asking you guys but it didn't work. And I don't have the time to try or experiment on all the available meds out there.

flexi I lived in another country for some time before coming to Qatar but I didn't experience the same problem like here. So while looking for some remedy to stop the excessive hair fall I'm also trying to figure out what causes this problem.

Azi, I don't know which ones either. But most of the time, I end up with resto foods.

If u are eating out regularly (I do) or otherwise and think that not much proteins are going into your system get some protein supplements. Atleast it stopped hair fall for me (dont ask me how and why as I have no medical support to prove it.... some guy from Nutrilite spoke to me and suggested, I followed and it worked). But again you may not take my word and decide for yourself.

too much of everything is bad.

Egg, chicken, nuts...anything oily, perhaps?

Go back to Micronesia for a month or so and see if it makes any difference. If it does, never come back. If it doesn't, stay another month and get it treated by a good dermatologist.

Azi, thanks. Do you have any idea about foods that can cause (or may trigger) hair loss? I have also thought about that because since I came here my diet has changed from what I used to eat back home.

Or better yet, stop using for now.

If not, maybe the food you eat...

Han19 Thanks for the prompt reply. I just based it on our family history (both sides of parents) that nobody got bald at my age and even at old age.

Get your hormones checked and how do you know that it's not male pattern baldness.
