Apparently it's not possible to sit for 2 hours without gorging on junk food.
I certainly don't think western countries are jealous of Qatar...It's all the fast food outlets,go to any shopping centre and you can see its packed out with people eating the junk!..You are what you eat after all

Diabetes is the product of life style. Most of us in this part of the world are consuming fatty, sweet and rich food in abundance and intaking calories in tons which are not burned. Most of the population are just sitting in front of the TV or PC and are not involved in physical activities. This is what makes everyone obese and also diabetic.
If we are taking food with more calories and not burning the calories regularly then we will be diabetic in the near future. Oil is worst than sweet.

Diabetes is directly related to obesity Flor. And yes it's regional wide, but Qatar is winning the obesity race I guess.
Secondly, the diabetes thing is regional wide because of the preference for sweet foods.
The worse thing is children as young as pre-school are already diabetics.
