Rubbish
By Tracy.C.Marriott •
I normally find Qatar to be an extremely clean place to live. That is until I went to a beach at Sealine yesterday.
The place was disgusting, full of plastic bottles, broken glass, tin cans even a babies nappy.
People had there families with them and were eating there!
Come on people take your rubbish home with you so we can all enjoy the beach.
Long Live !!
well said jpa
I don't see no difference.
Why should one assume that their houses are a mess ?
To me they are just uncaring idiots who don't think about the environment or the others.
If something disturbs us so much..then we need to do it ourselves. It wont hurt so much then.
Yup, that's why there are constant initiatives by expats to clean up the beaches.
Apparently those hired are not doing a good job...
And you may not know it, the Qatar government pays/hires people to do just that.
can just imagine then what their homes and surroundings must look like! But then again I know some folks who will take pains to make their houses look all spic and span yet will think nothing of tossing a few cans here and throwing out a few used bags there..selfish boors!
They are morons who expect others to clean up after them ..
Guess it makes them feel "at home".
Think positive, it will give a sense of security to new comers that this is not a secluded place, many people were around here before , so it safe for them as well, you know !
No I think your missing the point. The rubbish was not new but an accumulation of months and years worth.
All I am trying to say, please take your rubbish home so we can all enjoy a clean beach.
What's the difference between the title of the thread and the comments above?
Tracy, no use telling us after 20 hrs .
You should have spoken to that atleast one family there ?
And that’s for “Environment day”!
