I was raised by my nanny, mother and diplomat father, who long with teaching me right from wrong, also taught me that everyone has the right to their own opinions. People have a right to believe what they want to believe and have the freedom to chose to be nice or plain nasty.

I was also taught how to be social, how to act in public around others, to be graceful and allow others to say their piece without me giving my own biased opinions and how not to be outright rude when delivering my own opinion.

It's actually more common than people think. And sometimes children never tell their parents. My friend was abused by a babysitter as a child, luckily it was only temporary, but he never told his parents to this day.

It's not about trusting nannies more than ourselves....its about trying to give your child the best chance at life by providing them with all the necessities in like. This unfortunately involves having money.

I had a nanny when I was about 4yrs until 6yrs and she was one of the nicest ladies I will probably ever know and taught me in the 2hrs (between me finishing school and my mum finishing work)some of the best(alongside my parents) invaluable life skills.
