How much an oil and gas engineer from Asia with 25 years of experience with world class EPC contractors would expect as salary package in Qatar, say with QP?

Can I assume that a package with basic salary of 40K Qr + other usual allowances ( HRA , Car , Annual Tickets ) etc. can be expected and negotiated with the company. Since my kids are above 18 company will not provide educational allowance.
I doubt you will get 80k to 100k a month. 30k to 60k is a more realistic estimate; assuming your experience is a good as you say.

Being a Brit or American doesn't provide much premium in the oil industry here in Qatar. Good education and experience is what counts.
Now its a fact that on average a Westerner applying for a job in Qatar is better is better qualified; Asians with similar qualifications are usually moving to US and Europe on Expat packages. Its better for their family, they get to pick up a western citizenship and like in Qatar everything is paid for.
I meant Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractors such as Fluor, Bechtel, Jacobs etc. I am from India but have moved around in Asia working with reputed contractors.

if you are from India then the max you can get is about 35-40k Qr. Had you been an American or British you would have earned double of it.
The experience is in piping engineering department as stress analysis specialist, both in offshore and onshore projects.

What type of Engineer? What do you mean by EPC contractors?
Just expect anything between Q80,000-Q100,0000.
