I have 7 years experience in Software (GIS) field and I am working as Senior Software Engineer in Bangalore, India. I got a job offer (Technical Lead - Software) in Qatar,
Monthly Compensation
· 2000 USD per month (Tax Free) + 1 BHK Furnished Apartment for accommodation
· 20,000 Rs. Per month total CTC of Indian salary.
Other Benefit
· 500 QAR per month as a car allowance or shared car from residence to work place.
· 200 QAR as telephone allowance per month.
· Return air fare, Visa/Work permit charges & other one time travel expenses for employee, spouse and 1 kid.
· Travel Insurance & Medical insurance.
Please let me know, is this good offer? Can i relocate Qatar with my wife?

that offer is good enough if you are alone or bachelor, but to be with family its not enough, it would be a tough monthly budget for your family. Besides, that salary is not eligible for a family status as per new regulation here in Qatar. As a friend advice, you better come alone and have more savings to shorten your work span here in Middle east, then once you have enough savings, go back home for good and stay with your family. That's one choice...
2000 Dollars works out to be 7300 QR or so. with all your other allowances it comes to a max of 8k Qr a month.
Its not worth for a guy with 7 years experience.
