cant we open a PO box if we go to GPO in the evening time?

Hi,

I have visited the GPO twice last week after 5 PM to open a PO box. Both the times the same guy was at the counter and he says he doesn't know anything about opening a new PO box as he is a very new employee there. And I was asked to come in the morning time.

As per the Postal corporation website ,the working time is up to 8 PM and they never mentioned that PO box cant be opened in the evening time.
Unfortunately I cannot come in the morning time due to working time restrictions.

Please tell me any one had such experiece before?

There are other branches you could go to after 5PM patricularly near your office or accommodation.
