Visiting Qatar on Visit Visa or Business Visa after RP cancellation

Does any 1 have idea that one can visit Qatar on visit or business visa after RP cancellation? does that 2 year limit applies on Entry to Qatar on all Visas?

I was in this situation recently and I can assure you, from personal experiences, that without NOC you cannot enter the country on a visit or business visa. If your family is still in Doha (Father, Mother, Brother etc) you can enter on a family visit visa which is valid for one month extendable upto six months. That is the only option that you have.

Of course, if you are holding another GCC RP, then you can enter with an on-arrival visa (provided your profession falls in the eligible category). Make sure that the first time you fly to Doha in this instance, you fly via the national carrier i.e. Qatar Airways.

on of our exstaff wanted to come here for a seminar on a tourist visa/visit visa and the authorities rejected telling they need a NOC from us

Either u hav to complete 2 years before u enter Qatar or you need to get the NOC from ur previous employer...
