Selling a BMW in Doha
Hi Everyone, i was just wondering how hard it is to sell a BMW in Doha...
Apparently postings on Classifieds are not good enough, so if anyone have any idea if there is a better channel for selling it do let me know :)
the car is in perfect condition, its 2011 make, 325i BMW Coupe, Mileage 3400 KM, free service for 5 years, 1 year full insurance, full options/high-line, with sunroof, full screen, GPS/Navigation in all GCC countries... we bought it July 2011 so the insurance is covered until July 2012...
We are selling it not because there is a problem with the car, its been a dream for me and my husband to own one, but unfortunately we hit a financial bump accordingly we are doing our best trying to sell it for the past couple of month...
By all means if you are interested or know anyone who might be interested please contact us on +974 33408378
Thanks Everyone, Wishing you a great year InshALLAH :)
I got it qatarisun dont worry
PeterGrifin..lol.. he doesn't get it.. Leave it in the dark
Thanks for the compliment PG.
i love your logic.
Your target would most probably be some Lebanese chick with fake blond hair and brown eye brows.
did I say all do?
PG do all lebanese chicks have fake blond hair and brown eye brows ?
The problem with 325 is that it's got too many contradictions. It is a BMW coupe, yet does not have enough power to match competing cars of the same $ range.
This car is good for someone who wants a sporty looking BMW, who also does not know much about cars. They have got to be on a strict budget to get this instead of the 330, which is turbo charged.

nvm, I'm looking for a Benz C250 ;-)
145k :)
125K :-P
well stacey push it up another 45grands and its urs :)
well we are advertising since late September :S
regarding lowering the price, we already did a couple of times but no one seems to be serious enough...
we cant lower the price more than a certain number due to some financial bumps so the only option we have is being patient and spreading the word as much as we can...
Id buy it for 100,000 QAR :)
Anyways
it's not about BMW, it's about the model.
Coupe, and especially 2 doors - that what makes it difficult to sell. For same price one can get X3, 2010.
Also, how long you were advertizing, and where?
There are 2 options: to be patient or to lower the price.
I don't know if you already have, but you may wanna try advertising it on www.qatarsale.com
i found out the hardway to sell my BMW but eventually sold it. The German car market are small group of people mainly from Qatari or european countries who appericate the brand. most people think its a high maintenence cost to keep a german car. which is a myth.i was able to sell mine quickely using these online website. Carsemsar service is better then Qatarsale.

well regarding the price, we got it for 185000QR but we r selling it for 150000QR, if the buyer is serious and will cash it within a day or two i guess my husband will lower the price a bit more..
We went to Al ferdan, they wont buy it back, they'll give us another car for less price (for instance a 1 series which is for almost 140000QR) so we'll be in the same dilemma but in a smaller ride :)
and Yes Prism you are absolutely right regarding the Coupe and taste thing :(
try to visit al-fardan pre-owned division and I guess that they will buy it from you.
whats the cost, any financial offer?
what price are you looking for perry?
Very hard to sell a coupe specialy the high end ones cos people who fancy them buy them new and people who buy them just for namesake want to buy them cheap or they buy the cheap ones of the likes of Hyundai etc.
