Voilation
This is the my normal desert route I use in taking my kids to school every morning in al wakra. This morning as I was crossing the desert to the main road, this police man came infront of me and copied my registration number. Can you believe this evening I got a call from my company stating that I have traffic violation what of 500QR. For off road drive.
sorry for you dear!!here rules are very stringent unless u know know somebody in Police dept who can change things for you!
Doesn't matter as long as you weren't putting any lives in danger or anything of that sort. Find an Arabic speaker and make your way early in the morning to your local traffic department.
Morning = no rush = just had breakfast and coffee = in a good mood. You'd be surprised how easy things go when the officer sitting at the desk is in a good mood. Go, be extra nice and apologetic. say that you had no idea and that you won't be doing it again.
It might be normal routine for you, but, it IS a violation to drive OFF road to get away from traffic!
It was not a Desert, no desert in residence zone. What you did was wrong so pay the fine.
Its a Rare Incident ; May be that Police Man didnt have any other work to do that day like controlling traffic on the round abou
I hope these suckers have taken down the license plate of some IDIOT who was driving on the bike road in Al Waab St this evening.
People like this makes me sick.
We have to follow the pipeline ROW through the desert almost everyday..thats part of our job. Now I need to be careful not to get noticed by the police.
If people are not supposed to be driving on that route, then you should be prepared for a violation. Nothing surprising in that. It's normal route for you, but the police didn't feel so. Just bad luck.
