Am an Expat who's barely a year here in Doha. First time to celebrate Christmas away from home - and in Middle East!

God Bless everyone :)

its not to bad here actually, try the xmas dinner at The Ritz Charlton, they play xmas carols and the full works, really festive...they even had a life size ginger bread house a few years ago.

Christmas in Doha is far from what we have been used to celebrating back home. None of the glitter and glamour. Though I have heard some hotels do offer Christmas buffets but haven't really gone to any one of those. Would still prefer the simple but warm & meaningful Christmas celebrations with friends and family here in Doha. Good thing though is that some malls (Lulu for one) is now selling Christmas decors along with a shop in Nasser that sells a whole lot of them.

Hi. Try the buffet Christmas lunch at Marriot Hotel and you'll love it there. Dont forget to make an advance reservation.
