Talk about your hajj hamla

Alhamdullilah, I just came from hajj last week. In this thread, I would like all the QLers who went for hajj to talk about their own hamla. Just do not bash your hamla-describe what they did well and then describe what they could have improve. If you people give honest input, inshallah next time when we make hajj, we will be able to make somewhat informaed decison. My hamla was Yusuf Al Hammadai. Here is a glimpse of the service they have provided:

01. Bus: Mercedes benz bus, very good ac, had refrigerator, provided with drinks during the whole duration at bus, provided breakfast at the beginning of the journey. Only short coming-we could not recline the seats, but that was OK.

02. QA-KSA border transit: Was very organized. Took only 5 hours to clear the border.

03. Makkah Hotels: Kept us in Aziziyah, 3 star hotel, 4 persons in each room. Very good hotel in my opinion, the beds and blankets were new and the toilets were very clean.

04. Bus service between haram and hotel in aziziah: Bus service were provided three times each day: took us for fajr and brought back; took us for dhur and brought back; then took us for asr and brought back after isha. However, on the first day, most hujjaj forgot where the bus dropped them and we got lost. It was extremely difficult to get back to hotel. We could not exactly tell our location to taxi drivers, nor our hajj cards included any such information.

05. Food: In makkah, hammadi only provided breakfast. Then people fought with Hammadi and later he used to provide breakfast and lunch. No dinner. But at mina, muzdalezfa, arafat, and in madinah, hammadi provided food three times.

06. Mina: Very good fold-able beds, food was also good, separate arrangement for male and female.

07. Arafat: Again very good arrangement. Nice tents with fan and ac.

08. Muzdalefa: Kept us there only for 2 hours. Then took us to jamaraat before sunrise. This ritual was against the spirit of hajj :(

09. Madina accommodation: 4 star hotel--very good.

mr.qatar...ignore the people who think that if they post anything, they appear smart or witty, while the truth is the exact opposite.

thanks for the info, black hole.I did not know what hamla meant, because in hindi the word means "attack", so was wonering what attack were you talking about.

how are the room arrangments, in mina and arafat. are you supposed to stay in a group with many people? how is the hygiene in such rooms?

generally it takes more than that UK. Things have improved recently.

Earlier it used to take 12-15 hrs at the saudi border.

GodFather.

5 hours at the Qatari/Saudi border, Is that suppose to be Good? Could they not improve further on this like with one hour or something?
