Looking for electronic parts.

So i'm looking for a shop somewhere that'll sell some electronic parts that i need to build a cold cathode light.

That's exactly what i'm trying to make. So if anyone could give me any idea on where i could find ANY of those here, it'd be much appreciated.
I already checked radio shack n things like that. I'm about to head out and check carrefoure but my hopes aren't too high on them having anything useful.
