Mods, why you encourage people to discuss how to better violate the law? while philippines authorities try to stop illegal traffic of black-market business visas purchased in Qatar, QL mods who supposed to watch legality and compliance with the qatari laws, do nothing to prevent illegal exchanging of information and advices on how to circumvent the rules and to cheat on qatari government.
I am convinced any discussion on purchasing business visas and further cheating on both Philippines and Qatari governments must be completely banned on QL.
came here using business visa last october. yes i was hold at NAIA. 1st atempt the IO asked me where is the communication letter from my company that they are sending me for training. i showed her my company's Id, invitation letter, roundtrip ticket and some additional documents. the IO told me that that lettr is needed, she told me to let my company fax that letter. 2nd attempt: when the line is almost small, i went again to try to another IO, i presented to her all my documents, and the same, she's asking me the endorsement letter from my company. and she asked questions like -where did i graduate in college? my course? why is my course not related to my work now? do i know anybody in doha? and she gave me a paper and instructed me to go at the back and tell the IO on duty that my flight is on final call. the next IO interviewd me again and asked all sorts of questions about my company.as in naninidak talaga mga tanong nila.pati tingin nila e straight to the eye.i was hopeless na talaga, daming tanong na di ko na masagot. and he keeps on looking at all my papers.talgang final call na so talagang di na ako matuloy i said to myself, last minute nakita nya may previous flight ako.tas un sabi nya "go na to, ayusin ko lang paper nya, may previous flight pala" pero late na ang pag GO nya sa akin.iniwan na ako ng eroplano. i rebooked again the next day.ayun pag pasok sa iimigration, went to their office, got hold of my paper, pila again sa immigration..they asked me who interviewed me yesterday, pumasok sa office nila ung IO, sabi verify muna daw nila.after ilang minutes ayun ok na daw.buti di na maraming tanong at tinatakan na pasport ko.i was nervous at first talaga pero pinapalakas ko isip ko para relax ako sumagot sa mga tanong nila. relax, look at the IO' s eye straight when answering questions and PRAY PRAY PRAY.

I arrived here under business visa, but did not encounter any question or problem at the airport.they immediately stamped my passport...
no need to worry, based on your profile your nationality is from United Kingdom. so why worry?
were she able to leave? or until now, still trying? thanks for the response
my sister-in-law left for Doha a month ago and she was on a family visit visa...and still they held her in the immigration at NAIA.They kept insisting that she was going to Doha to get a job and not to visit her family eventhough she had all the papers including the affidavit of suppport from our Father-in-law who sponsored her.
I think it will be even harder for a business visit visa holder to pass through the immigration specially if the reason to enter Qatar is not really for business purpose.
You have to be smart enough to convence the Immigration officer's interview in NAIA (if any) with supporting documents to prove your purpose. Why don't you arrange your ticket coming from Cebu - Doha airline flight. You might get your luck out their.
