Lol.. you believe on Al Jazeera news?

and i just checked wikipedia, they says highest growth rate is of Nigeria with 62.4%, second is Pakistan with 55.2% and third is India with 40.2%

ingeniero, just a few days back there was a news item in al jazeera about pakistan's growing rate of increase of population. india is ofcourse heavily populated and needs one child policy as well but because its rate of population increase was found lower than that of pakistan, it was probably spared in the news item :)

Nobody talks about China as they have really brought the rate down by severe measures.

But they declared Philippine's baby as 7 billion baby..

where Pakistan came from in the topic?

and BTW population in China and India is more then in Pakistan.. don't u think they should try there first?

yes there are a lot of 7 billionth babies BUT the one in the Philippines only recognized by the UN.

after checking the web link given by erwin_b2i, many people claimed that their child is 7 billion kid... but seems to be no one can justify it.. how UN can be so sure.. they have just an average, in many poor/undeveloped countries, many babies are not registered at the time of birth, no one can confirm may be the this number 7 billion born a day ago... or may be not yet..

Qatar is not the first choice for every Philippine citizen , another thing Qatar is not the only country where they earn the money, qatar can be one of the choice...

they are not getting the money for free.. how arabs are dealing with them, we all know very well.. don't forget that thing...

there is no shame in wanting a better life for someone... but acting like racist is not a good option, you can pray for her.. wish her all the best.. But why you want to keep her away from her family and friends..?

Ingeniero--are you denying that many girls and women from Philippines come here to make money for the better life? LOL. Philippines top source of income is sending its people abroad to labor.

There is no shame in their wanting for the better life for themselves and families. They provide services that are needed and they are granted wages. My wife has money but no time or want to spend the day tidying my house. There is a girl who has the time but not money. The arrangement is made. That simple. All benefit from the arrangement when the laws and the contract are followed. This child will also have this great opportunity.

flor, its impossible to know the exact population at any point of time, further, its also impossible to track the births taking place each second..

then how the hell UN can declare something like this..do they feel we are fools to buy anything they say?

the announcement! Does UN tracks down all newborn? For sure, not only one baby is born every second!

I don't believe everything what UN says..they always have their own reasons for it.

Baby danica was born shortly after midnight PHIL time.

Midnight in PHILIPINES come ahead than in INDIA right?

Looking at the time zones, there is no chance for a baby born in INDIA to beat her birth time.

I'm not sure why she was chosen though. There could have been babies born in the PACIFIC ahead of her.

But the UN declared it and so be it.

2012Olympics, you think its qatar, where is better life? come out of that small hole, and check out the world.. Qatar is not even the good example of better life.. at least not for the Philippine girls, if it was a best option, then why qatari's are standing in line and trying to get the visa of other countries?

but yesterday i checked news, and read that the 7 billionth child is in India, .. may its even someone else, who is not reported to hospital..

But who ever she is, even this phlipina, we wish her a happy and stressless life. may she is the lucky card for her parents and family..
