Chance to be free???
HI follow up question here ... I came here on father sponsorship last june... and extended for 1 month. Then I applied for a position as electrical engineer in a company here in qatar and they took my passport and gave me visa for electrical engr. under the conmpany sponsorship. When I check my visa on my passport it says it will expire October this year. The thing is until now I have not yet undergone the medical and fingerprint process and I'm thinking if I can still leave the company without being banned for 2 years. My father is soon to retire and works here in Qatar, I do not want to leave Qatar due to this and would like to be very sure of what would happen to me If I decide to give my resignation letter to my boss. I do not have a medical, fingerprint and contract just an offer letter and my probation will end this October. What would be the possible consequences if I resign, will they have the option to send me back home or I just need to exit the country and apply for a new visa. If anyone near Matar Qadeem is reading this please I need enlightenment and advice on what will happen. Yes,, you cancomeback anytime. since you dont have the residence permit, once you exit qatar, that work visa will be cancelled, and if you wish to go back, you can come back anytime.
