Failure to give my passport on time!

Hi guys,

Coming here in Doha using bussiness visit visa is not advisable. I can say this thing after facing lots of trouble, I dont know if I consider myself as a lucky person or not... I was ex- abroad, i thought after my contract in kuwait I am going to stay in Philippines for good that's why i build business there, well, the business is fine, can earn enough to live a simple life, but because of being ambitious lady and wanted to have good life in the future. I decided to find my luck here in doha using buss visit visa, i almost spent  7000 QR for my visa and other expenses here.. I arrived last 21 july and got a job during ramadan time until eid, but the company where I joined doesn't have ready visa to transfer, so no choice! I have to leave my work and try to look for another job but im running out of  my time. and i heard lots of problem from buss. visit visa holder and found myself that i am scared and worried a lot, i want to stay and find work here and i have to do something. I tried to look for someone who can help me to provide working visa and lucky me i met one qatari madam and transfer my visa to working visa, now i got a working visa already but failed to give my passport on time for visa stamping, because of my previous sponsor refuse to release my passport without completing my payment for my extension which is 1,200 QR. I haven't any money anymore only  i have to borrow from a friend of mine but have to wait until they get their salary. Just before yesterday i took my passport back but still i dont give it to my new sponsor for my visa stamping, now she called me and said that i have to pay the fine which is 500QR per day for not giving my passport on time? NOw if that's what i have to settle it will cost me 4000QR. is it possible to pay this amount because of failure to give my passport? Please Guys help me to understand the law here in Qatar.

Now that sounds as if the 'Qatari Madam' is trying to make some 'pocket money'! And she said '500' because that's the only banknote she knows.

Firstly there is no 500 fine per day its 200 per day. Secondly if your visa was already ready but you did not transfer it on your passport then there is no penalty at all

My new sponsor did my working visa last 26 of september so meaning from 26 sept till now  5 oct. will be my 9 days. my new sponsor now is in dubai so meaning i have to wait her to come back to give my passport unless if she has mandoob to proceed working with my visa stamping. and is it true that the fine cost 500 QR per day? simple cool you failed to give yoru passport on time for visa stamping, that means visa process is still pending, and will be completed when you submit your passport, if you delay more the fine will keep increasing
