Hey Qlers

I am coming to qatar through a hotel tourist visa. Now I have a friend in Qatar and if i have a hotel visa than is it compulsary for me to stay in the hotel. Can't I stay with my friend the time im in Qatar. Also if you can tell me the difference between Tourist visa & visit visa.

Nobody can force you to stay in the hotel. But you'll have to pay for it.A visit visa is granted to people who have relatives in Qatar. A tourist visa is granted to tourists.
