is it true that the recent 60% increase for government employed qataris does not apply to hamad hospital, aspire, olympic committee and that it is only for police/army and actual ministry workers??? thanks.

Hi

Till the time you being a expat ready to work  they need not increase your salary. You are taken for granted. since you left our country means you have no chance of any desent life in your country. So they think they are giving a job as a favour. And you need to work till your ass pains. After all you are a slave by your own wish and desire about gulf dream. so shut your mouth and work.

Any Expat increase is ABSOLUTELY down to the individual management's of companies - I happen to know that some are giving favourable consideration to leveraging the base salaries of their expat employees as a measure of "good faith" but by no means is there going to be a unilateral increase across the board  - quite simply, it isnt required!!

Sorry, dont know abou the Olympic organisation.

It is not the case that this salary increment is for ALL Qatari 's  - a good number have been overlooked and it is beong left to individual employer's to consider breaching the gap brought about by this decision - for example banks, QP affiliates, QTel....................................

Well this would be a good question for your actual employer or a high ranking officer in the company you work for to get the actual details on who gets the raise / who does not get the raise.

Regards!!
