Live and Save or Save and Live?

Live and Save... be happy today! tomorrow might not come. BUT this doesnt mean living way beyond your earnings.

I think you should add a new dimension to the question i.e. " Borrow and Live". There are many people here who live a lavish life with borrowed money. The car, house, furniture eveything is on instalments.

The key is to follow the middle path... do not be spendthrift or a miser...

shaine thats an eye opener... but the pocket is already empty and the habits are spoiled.

i prefer to live without savings if life is costly instead of making it miserly. but i dont believe in living a life of credit to afford desires instead live a life of satisfaction. i belive we can make life easy by reminding ourselves of death which is inevitable.

I live and save.I dont wanna end up saving without living the life i want.Death is unpredictable..we must live every day..

how we live our lives is up to us... if you enjoy saving now, enjoy later policy or vice versa its up to u.. as long as u enjoy your life... no regrets AMIGO! :D

live life to fullest, with a backup reserve for emergency needs....khallas!

Each person has a plan (at least I do) and I try to follow it as much as I can.

Isn't it the same as " Do you live to eat, or eat to live?". A balanced lifestyle would fulfill both the options without sacrificing your dream, but rather compromising on it. Example, I love photography, i would want to go for a professional camera which will cost me 25k QAR, but i settle for entry level professional camera for less than 5k QAR. I still live my dream, with little compromise ofcourse :)
