Mr M.

It's always best to have some suhoor as the Prophet Mohammed PBUH has said 'have suhoor as there is blessing in it'.

I gives you the strenght and energy to continue the fast for the rest of the day.

Suhoor is not a requirement for fasting, rather a preparation and blessing. And the Mujahada that you face (for not having consumed anything since falling asleep) will only increase tha Ajr (reward) in sha Allah.

Wa Alaikum As Salam brother, Inna mal aamaal u bin niyaat brother since you had niyat yesterday you can continue your fasting. As brother "newbie" mentioned Suhoor is just a sunnah and prefferable but if by some reason you were not able to do it and was not intentional Allah rab ul aalameen is very ghafoor ur raheem.

Fasting is 'Fariyad' (Obligatory) while Suhoor is sunnah..it is preferable to have suhoor for fasting but if missed in any case, Fasting should continue.

May Allah give you the accept our Fasting.

Thanks TB :)

Alaikum salam....As far as i know, it is still ok for you to continue to fast as long as you have recited the niat. Sahur is just a sunnah and hence it is ok for you to not do it but will be better if you did. Hope this helps. Ramadan Kereem to you.
