I want to get some blonde colouring into my hair - its been a while since there was any decent recommendations on QL for Ladies Hair Stylist - can anyone advise who is offering good service at a competitive price these days - including the hotels.
RJ is a lovely man (he is very good looking - but shhhhhhhhhhh about that fact).
He does not do anything without you agreeing to it; he knows his skill.
When I first met him he had just arrived in Doha and was shy. The other hairdressers who had been their longer - handed 'new clients' to RJ the 'new one' - he has now got the 'old clients' and more.
He is the best in there and the other longer serving hairdressers should be in awe of him.
Leelah I am more than pleased. It is very difficult, yes. I had so many bad experiences that I just decided to dye my hair black to make it easier and so I could do it at home. Now I have a dark brown undertone with dark blonde and copper highlights and I LOVE it :)
I had full head fine highlights (loads of them) was 500 Riyals. Cut and blowdry was 120 and the root colouring (about 6cm) was 300. Very cheap for Doha standards because I have fine hair and he spent half hour talking to me and giving me the best advise on what to do to fix the disaster my hair had turned into. Not once did he try to sell me any product - and the shop is full of quality hair products. He just advised me on what not to do.
I hate you by now - I am sure you know that cabbage, right? I am going to make 'Sauerkraut' out of you when you get back!!!!! (German word - just google it!) ;P xxxxxx
Piece of advise for the OP - RJ will be going on holiday soon, so be quick if you want to catch him before he takes 6 weeks off :)
By the way darling - hate to mention it - just had the best dinner ever - you can guess which meat I have just eaten for sure - with all the trimmings lol
They are all in bed now as they are up at 4am - me; I am up typing rubbish here but eating crispy, salty crackling dipped in apple sauce lol xxxxxxxxxx

Hi cabbage :) xxxxxxx
Loooooove RJ at the Ramada!!! He did my hair (root colouring and highlights) 3 days ago and I LOVE my hair again thanks to him.
Glow? Thanks - but NO Thanks!!! Overpriced, overrated and over-much-everything!
Went to Glow once and never again.
Seek out RJ who works in The Ramada Hotel. I like him and I know others do too.
Let me know what you think :-)
Good luck. x
you can DIY., just follow the instruction written on the box., and it will save you more money :)
Like Glow off Salwa road but not cheap
