Hey everyone..... i know i am late on this one but i just want to say... well done India on sundays football match against Qatar..... you guys showed true potential and played like professionals...... correct me if  i am wrong but i dont think this was discussed......

unlike the other team, they were a national team playing for their OWN country and they had the respect of their opponent, but apparently the opponents didnt show them the respect due.....

i always had my respect for India as a cricketing nation and now i think football has a place in the country, jus hopefully people would give it a chance......

It's been ages seeing any anti India (routine hatred) comments/threads here in QL :),

India is not changed for good, recently, for sure! Is it because our regular haters are on extended vacations or it doesn’t give ‘em any pleasure anymore…or their ‘own’ troubles have reached to an unfathomable level ??????? or none of above, it’s just my absence here……

Right answer will win a karak chai :) ..lol

Tinker - It's the thread stating an idea of revealing true names and pictures in QL. How could someone dictate other people what to do? Wishful thinking..

anyway,Congratulations to the Land of Lungi - INDIA.

@ D2Lia, "fiddle with Qatar's status" eh? & what "status" exactly would that be?...EIGHTY THIRD in world football ranking, sorry but that's not much of a "status"!!!...& what was the next bit?, "Qatar footballers"???...where???...i know for a fact that EVERY player in the Indian team is actually INDIAN(not BOUGHT, NATURALIZED & given a passport to play for the country),how many REAL Qataris in the national team???...get your facts right before posting with a "grumpy tone" little girl!...

BCCI  REFUSES VIRGIN AIRLINE SPONSORSHIPBillionaire Virgin business group boss Richard Branson has offered tosponsor  the Indian cricket team currently reeling after a string  oftournament defeats. However, the Board of Control for Cricket of India (BCCI) haspolitely refused  the generous multi-million-pound offer by thecricket-mad  magnate. As one of the Board official snapped: "We  can't have VIRGIN writtenon our shirts, when we're  getting scre---ed in every match in England"!

I dont think victory over one match can fiddle with Qatar's status. And the only reason I share this with a grumpy tone is cox I didnt like the way stuff was posted against the Qatar footballers.

If Qatar get dumped by Vietnam over the next week as current form tends to indicate and do not make the group stages of the qualifying then i suspect that Mr Rajevac will be on a plane with a one way ticket to his next port of call. You can buy a tournament but you cant always buy success!!!!!!!
