Dear All,

I came to Qatar on 15-Mar-2011 with WORK VISA. Now I'm working with my company for over 4 months. But, still my company did not do any thing about my VISA, I did not go to medical or do any other thing to get my ID and currently I don't have an ID. When I ask about my ID, they always reply "NEXT WEEK". As I know, currently I'm staying in Qatar illegally (After three months on arrival). Please tell me how long can I stay here without having an ID or without stamp on my passport. If I don't have an  ID, Can I go back to my country without any problem (Without go to Jail).

Thank you all for your time and concern on this.

Best regards

Kumar

Legally its 3 months validity to finalize the residence permission stuff ... but don't worry incase something happened from the police side or something its the company problem not yours ... the police or any other governmental agency understands that the company is who go through the procedures for their employees ...

and you may also understand that some procedures are slow such the medical commission is a a bit slow due to some system issues to get an appointment if its not from trying to access the website it will be from the appointments usually are after 1 month
