Other option would be look for weekend Islamic schools.

One of them is QMySAP

Otherwise, how about opening a Weekend Islamic School in your own locality! Its easy and takes very little effort.

We can help you set up one, check out this link

What Dohazone has suggested is excellent if you want your child to take up Quran memorizing lessons only, howeve what I understand from your question is, you are enquiring about Islamic scholarly education. If you want him to educate to become an Islamic scholar and go for internationally recognized degrees along with Quran memorizing lessons, then there could be no better destination than Al Azhar University Cairo, Egypt IMHO.Take a look at the following link.http://www.sacred-destinations.com/egypt/cairo-al-azhar-university

Mashalla...First of all v.good to hear of your high and great intentions..May Allah swt reward you for it.... For becoming a hafizul Quran you can put your son in any tahfeez for memorizing the holy Quran...and these tahfeez are located in different masjids areawise...I can advise the best tahfeez where I memorised the Holy Quran in Mohamed bin Jaber Al Thani Masjid where our Teacher was Sheikh Farooque..whose tajweed, guidance, hardwork on students I feel the best compared to other tahfeez....One of the best reciter of Quran(Qari) in Qatar...,if you go to salwa road from ramada signal after jarir bookstore and before the bridge theres a right cut...turn right and go straight you will find a big masjid...and you can meet him in any prayer time as he is The Imam there.
