Extending the period of stay outside qatar

My wife is having RP (my sponsorship) here and she is going back to India for her delivery...As per the Qatar law, she will have to come back within 6 months...Is there any way to extend her stay in India for more than 6 months???

PLease go to MAALUMATH-Wakra with Ur&mrs passportcopy with Qrs500 for 6 month extension.I heard this extension giving after 6 month to 1 year from the departure date. Pls check.

It can be, provided the RP is still valid. Its called 'Return Visa' and the fee is QAR.500/-. If your wife's RP is expiring soon, better renew it and send her.(you can renew it 4 months before its expiry)

Approach immigration service...they will gladly explain how to do it and how much to pay.

PS: by the way this has been discussed before in QL; maybe a search could provide you some guidelines. However the best answer is from the authorities so once again approach Immigration office and ask.
