Applying Searvant Visa

Hi,

Can you please tell me the procedure for getting visa approval for a searvant. I have my company's letter, my contract and the letter from my wife's company.

I don't know what are the other document and steps to be done further further.

Advise please.

House Maid/Baby Sitter Visa is issued only to families with permanent residence permit and both the Husband and Wife are employed. The following documents have to be submitted to the Immigration department

Documents needed:

1.Salary statement of Husband and Wife

2.Resident ID of Husband and Wife

3.Passport copies of Husband, Wife and Children

4.Duly filled application form

The Immigration department will verify the documents and issue a receipt if approved. The approval is usually sent online. The processing time is approximately a week. The receipt should be produced to the manpower agency who would take care of the Visa processing.

Fees

The processing fee would be around QAR1,800 The fee for Granting or renewal of residence permits for house maids / laborers (on personal sponsorship) is QAR 300 per year. The Agency would charge around QAR 3,000 – QAR 6,000 which is inclusive of the air ticket. The salary for a Filipina Maid is anywhere between QAR1,200 – QAR1,800 per month. For Sri Lankan, Ethiopians, Indians etc it would be roughly betweenQAR 700 – QAR1,200 per month.
