I need to vent...
Why can I not find a reasonably priced small villa for me and my animals?
I don't have a big allowance... will furnish it myself, so why do I have to be subjected to crappy, part villas, that end up being co-shared with dodgy people?
I just want a nice little place to come home too... I want to feel that my animals are safe from being stolen or worse still getting lost when some dingbat leaves a gate open unwittingly... I don't even need a huge yard for them...
I just want them to be happy and safe.
Why don't people advertise exactly what the place is about?
Why put - Villa for rent - QR5300 - now I realise I am not going to get a mansion... but at least say that its a top floor part of a shared villa, that you have to entrance from the side of the house with a rickety stair case - that has three nice sized dirty rooms with a bathroom and doesn't seem to be split between shower and toilet... no I do not wish to use my toilet as the shower square....
Please can a lovely western lady, good with animals and prepared to split the costs of a decent villa contact me so I can stop depressing myself....

Al-khartiat is much closer to TV R/A than Wakra.
The Beast; I live in Gharafa. Only once I heard of a villa for 6500QR in Gharafaa and went there to find it more a one storey old house.
If you're aware of something for 6000QR, please, advise.

Going through the same annoying process... the Accom adverts need to be filtered properly... I have wasted so much time looking at places that sound great, then when you see them they suk!

Ezdan is gud for u dear... or there are many other villas in Wakra...u have to drive from Wakra to Al Jazeera.. there is a road from wakra to waqood petrol station near al Jazeera...people normally use that way to go there because it has no signal direct wat from wakra to waqood... it will suit u..my husband was also using that way .. his office was near the villagio...Ezdan is gud opion for u.. i too have one Maltese dog.. sometimes , he is alone bcz we went out for grocery or some other work..so worries... :))
PLUS, i m vry happy, i bring my dog for emash walk too.. no problem :)... enjoy .. :)

Xena, look at the expatwoman website, I think somebody there was looking to share a villa.
Try Ezdan's Gharrafa and al Wakra compounds...Al Gharrafa's villas should be somewhere around 6500 QR/ month...all the best :)

I think it's fair comment if the Classifieds are being incorrectly used.

I feel ya...Still memo the time we were house hunting. an ad said "3 bedrooms, 2 halls,..." Naturally we were like "hmmm.." we drive all the way down winding roads to find a house that truly resembled a cow shed! Oh and less say the better of the 2 halls *sighs*
Finding a home is tedious as it is and the dodgy brokers and fraud ads make it all the more horrendous. Which is why for the past three years,despite reduce in rents enabling better houses, I refuse to budge from where I am currently staying!

My friend got a nice place for QR6K.. Three b/r three b/r.. perfect size yard... hope I can be that lucky:-)
I will even live in a fixer upper if needed... just want a place that is dog/cat friendly.
A Saffa friend of mine has just got a villa in Wakrah. Will ask him and PM you more information.
Also worth looking is Garaffa area as your on that side of the town now.
at the moment... looking at Ezdan... but those are really far... New office is opposite al Jazeera with early office hours...
Anyone know any agents in Wakrah with villa registers - the area is pretty reasonable.
you can find villa for 7000 in Ein khalid. I dont think you can get decent villas cheaper than that in Doha.
If you happy to travel a bit, There are plenty of reasonably priced villas in Wakra for that kind of price me think..:)
