Mobile phones linked to cancer

(CNN) -- Radiation from cell phones can possibly cause cancer, according to the World Health Organization. The agency now lists mobile phone use in the same "carcinogenic hazard" category as lead, engine exhaust and chloroform.
Before its announcement Tuesday, WHO had assured consumers that no adverse health effects had been established.
A team of 31 scientists from 14 countries, including the United States, made the decision after reviewing peer-reviewed studies on cell phone safety. The team found enough evidence to categorize personal exposure as "possibly carcinogenic to humans."

Classic accusation of carcinogenic agents rendered those institution into bankrupt history. Scientists of WHO funded research project must find fresh sources to pay all those health research and health claim bills. Apple, Samsung, HTC, Nokia will then replace R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Phillip Morris Companies and others.
The research suggests that "intensive use" of mobile phones might lead to an increased risk of brain cancer. However, it is also a call for societies to be careful when designing / setting up transmitter towers and Wi-Fi.
To me, Its a good start ..
OHH please i have been hearing these "cellphones may lead to cancer" stories since i didnt had a cellphone.
why has it to be politically motivated?
Poorly presented and politically motivated science.
Let's find out how many people are going to give up their mobile phones after this report.
I bet that the rate of mobile related car accidents exceeds any rate of cancer induced by these devices.
