Qatar Exports

This Italian has either been living in Qatar or Qatar is exporting it's driving instructors to Italy

On a less frivalous note, I have, on at least two previous occassions, been forced to order coach drivers to not answer their phone whilst driving a bus full of children. On each occassion the drivers were reluctant to do so as it was their boss calling, over and over again, and they were scared not to answer it.
A note to bosses of transport companies - you know where your drivers are, they are driving a bus full of kids that you organised, you morons; so stop f***ing calling them, you not only force the drivers to break the law but you put YOUR CUSTOMERS lives at risk. Next time you call one of your drivers when I am in charge of a bus full of children, I will answer the f***ing phone and will tell you where you can stick you effing handset.

Rant over

Thanks for listening

Indeed it can happen in any country....but it relates to Qatar because:

a) we live in Qatar

b) Mobile phone use whilst driving is rife in Qatar

and

c) just for humourous effect

How is Qatar related to this one? Can't this happen in any country?

In this case official comments have been made to the company concerned. I will see if it's had any effect the next time I am involved in a trip.

It still must be made known to the parents and those in authority so that necessary action can be taken against these transport companies. Problem is at times passengers themselves don't object to such jeopardizing practices. Either they completely shrug it off as normal or rant to others once they get off the bus. Useless!

I'm not talking about the daily morning bus runs, rather, special trips.

To be fair to the drivers, it's never them that make calls it's their bosses that call them. The bosses KNOW they are driving a bus at the time. And they ring over and over again if they don't get an answer.....and these are the guys in charge!!

the problem out here is that most of the bosses / managers of transport companies out here have never even been at a transport company back home but when they they got here by their mafia relationship and connections have been put in charge of depts. they know nothing or very little about and this has taken a lot of transport companies to the dogs and their drivers have been held responsible for the ignorance of their stupid managers

Wonder if the parents of these kids are even remotely aware of the risks their offsprings are facing day in day out thanks to these perilous drivers? and to think they pay them for it..scary!
