Car sale problems

Recently I sold my wife's car. The person who wanted to buy it called XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, a xxxxx who is xxxxxx. He didn't get it. Now he is harrassing us calling at middnight and frightening to take us to court. We still have his deposit of QR2,000, but he won't come to collect his money! He is saying that he will get his money through the court. We are not refusing to give his deposit back. We sent him an SMS message, an e-mail asking him to come. Last night my wife had to call to police because he started calling and swearring at her in the middle of the night. We didn't want to sell the car to him because of his eractic behaviour in the first place. Women, be aware, this man is around! And you, XXXXXXXXXX, please come and collect your QR2000 today. I don't want to deal with you and I don't want your money.

I don't give a dumn about anybody's feelings. Selling a car is just a simple business. I just want to return the deposite of QR2000 to the guy. I cannot get hold of the guy by phone, so I posted it on QL. The crazy guy doesn't want the money, he said he wants the car. The car was sold. Guy, take your money and leave my wife alone!

I am surprise that you actually have the nerve to come on this site and try to complain about this guy`s reaction after what you have done to him. It doesn’t matter whether he is Egyptian or any other nationality. As our QL Fanged Prince of Darkness said. This guy may have taken a bank loan or sold his car on the broken commitment you made to him. I guess a person like you is too arrogant and inconsiderate towards others to understand that. The next time you have a grievance with someone, leave the nationality thing out of it. It might make you look more educated!!!!

You took a token deposit from your buyer and then you sold the vehicle to another. Wow. Don't think he can take you to court but you sure deserve a piece of his mind. You've got your poor wife involved too.

Secondly please take out his name from the OP - you are at fault and he can sue you for defaming him. Next time you do not like the buyer do Not take the token deposit.

Yes, this is unfair from your side!

Maybe he took an emergency loan from bank or he sold his car for nothing to give you the whole amount of money!

You shouldn't take 2000 QR!

He should sue you!

You're lucky because he's "stoopid" and he's calling and harassing you during the night.

This is your escape...

it seems like, you took 2000 from him after negotiating on a price. And later on when someone else saw the car and offered you more, you sold to him (The guy offering more).

If this is the case, then goodluck man, you should receive calls from him. This is unfair from your side!

If his behavior was erratic, as you mentioned, then why you made the deal and took 2000?

sorry mate, you are confusing!

Go to the police and file a complaint for harassing your wife at night time. They will take care of it.

Don't tell the police or you will be in trouble for taking from him money without acknowledging the sell of your car!!!!

why did you agree to sell him the car, if you disliked his behaviour. And on top of that you accepted a deposit from him which is usually a garantee from the seller to the buyer. Well you do agree that you sold him the car but "He didn't Get" doesn't tell us why he didn't. Im sure he has his own reasons to get upset. However this is very unappropriate of him to call your wife. Although it does seem like you have done wrong to him. I am not being sampethetic with him.

Regardless to his reaction, its all your fault, you refused him after taking the deposite, more over you informed him on phone which turned harsh, dont mind that your deal is very weak, this is embaressment to him while deposite with you and denied also.None of your steps are in order.Repeat, that never refuse without meeting face to face.Be straight and stop relying on sms or emails in such deals. And if unexpected! now is the time to learn.

Why should I chase him at all? And what problem can he really make for me? None. He paid cash. I even can deny he paid. But I won't. And I want him to collect his QR2,000 and appologize to my wife whom he was rude to. It's our business whom to sell or not to sell car. It's got nothing to do with the police( I have already spoken to them and they were not really interested). So, Ashraf, I know that the car was very nice and the price was very good and you wanted it very much and it is difficult to find a car like that. Please, put yourself together and be a man. I'm waiting for you to collect your QR2,000. Please, do it today.

It will be in your favour if you have a written record of the deal or witness. If not, you are in trouble in case he wants to create some mischief, assuming it was an honest deal where you delivered the goods you promised and he gave you Qr.2000/- only.

I am calling him, but he wouldn't answer. What a hell is going on? Ashraf Eldermedash, come and collect your QR2,000 please! It's getting ridiculous! I never heard of anyone who wouldnt want to collect his money before I met Ashraf. Do I have to go to police to give them his money back? It's really getting stupid.
