What is the difference between saving accounts and Current account??
By rizwin4uuu •
I have a bank account in QIIB and it is a savings account.
What is the difference between savings account and current account?
Is there any disadvantage for having savings account?
Can I change my account to current from savings If I need??
Dear If you look into service factors both A/C are useless...they both have hidden charges, high rate of interest and bla bla bla...but to tell you actual differences here are these.
Firstly the major difference is the Spelling difference.
Secondly the pronounciation difference.
thirdly the number of alphabets in the words.
fourthly the repeatation of alphabets etc...etc like these too many differences.
If you need cheque facility go for current a/c and if not saving a/c will be simple. It purely depends on needs adv. and dis adv. can be discuss bank authority also.

The main disadvantage of savings account is tht YOU CANT GET LOANS over it...while Current account gives you more privileges and bank services such as Cheque book etc...
Procedure for opening both accounts are almost similar..You need a 1)noc letter from company/Sponsor (depends on the mood of bank Staff),2)Original Qatar ID, and 3)your Passport...
you can also change from savings a/c to current one by requesting...contact ur bank for more details..
HAhahahahaaha...Lena you gotta stop copying and pasting if you have no idea what the question is about. He's asking about bank accounts and you've copied an economic answer....
With a current account you get to have a cheque book facility. Both pay rubbish interest rates. You can open a current account - same procedure as a savings
The current account is the sum of the balance of trade (exports minus imports of goods and services), net factor income (such as interest and dividends) and net transfer payments (such as foreign aid). if you loan money from a bank, they usually deposit your money in your current account, i think its a bank to bank transactions, while savings account is more likely your deposited money savings, from the word itself "savings" and earns a small amount of interest.
