Graduity Rules in Qatar

Dear All, i would like to have an advice or information regarding on the Graduity rules here in Qatar. i been working in our company for more than 8 years, i started to join in our company last 2002. i just want to ask if when they start the graduity count, is it on the same year that i joined the company or is it started on year 2005 which i've heard from a friend. im a little bit confuse...please help, anyone who knows this matter.and what will be the base calculation of graduity here in Qatar? i am resigning very soon. it is from the date of joining as confirmed employee on the payroll.

Its 'Gratuity'. 21 days per year starting from your date of joining in 2002.
