Visit Visa for UAE

Hi all, I and my wife like to travel to UAE to visit my sister's family there for around 10 days. I wish to know a little more about the visit visa process for UAE. Our condition is that I am Australian passport-holder and my wife is Pakistani passport-holder. Therefore, I can fly to UAE for visit without a visa, and just get visa on arrival at the airport. However, my wife probably cannot do that since she has got Pakistani passport?
Does this mean that my brother-in-law need to sponsor both of us first and submit all required documents before we can travel to UAE? If yes, what documents are required and how much my brother-in-law has to pay as visa fees for both of us and how much money for sponsor guarantee for both of us?
Just to let you know that I and my wife have got Qatar ID card, with my profession being "Engineer" and my wife was sponsored by me. We have got our Qatar ID cards for around 2 months now.
Looking for your help.
Regards

Its not a big problem go to Qatar Airways OR Emirates Airlines Inshallah u both will get the Visa
You can both travel to Dubai. As long as your wife is under your sponsorship. You will get Visa on arrival.
I think if you are eligible to get the on arrival visa in U.A.E. your wife & children can accompany you and get on arrival visa as well. Why dont you ask Qatar Airways or Emirates?
because ur wife is under ur sponser.no need such requirements. 4 both on arrival visa will work. have a nice stay in dubai :)
If your wife is under your sponsor and you have a proof of that and in this case you both will get on arrival in dubai as you mentioned your wife is under your sponsor
