Hello,

I am UAE resident permit holder and i am coming to work in qatar for a project on a business visit visa, but i also want to bring my wife and 2 months daughter here in qatar.

Designation written on my UAE RP is "computer engineer" but my UAE RP was issued in end of December 2010. I have heard that my UAE RP should be 6 months old to get the on arrival visa in qatar? Is this correct? If yes then please kindly tell me how can i sponsor my wife and daughter here as we are planning to stay here for 3 months.

It is better then you go for visa on arrival and exit the country everymonth. Ask you company to bear this cost.

You can apply for business visa all together(you and family). applying seperately can be a problem.

Thank you (nishantvshah), actually my other colleagues also working on a business visit visa and it is extensible for another 2 months in addition to the initial one month visa. Now i am just looking the way to sort out visa for my wife and daughter.

i dont think you will have an issue coming to Qatar and getting an on arrival visa. the visa should be valid for 6 months and not the other way round as you are saying.

The only problem is i dont think visa on arrival is extensible.
