Clinics with friendly doctors and staff?
hi u all. can anyone tell me which clinics have friendly doctors and staff for general and specialist checkups? tired of those like the Apollo and some in musheireb like Alrafa where u pay expensive consultation and tests but they look at u like u r beggars or worse, like u r lepers. maybe it's generic for certain people cause they seem to be everywhere here in qatar. or maybe it's just my not so pretty face. but hey, aren't i paying? anyway pls if u do know where i can get a treatment with a smile while they jab me n then slap me with hefty bills... but at least still with a smile....
Mushtaq, exactly what we are talking about here is the level of respect and kindness to the patients which is kind of the first philosophy of healing. I m not so much as doubting their medical knowledge. Basheer, that was the kindness n care we all need but should be at all levels. Whether we are bedridden or can still run up the stairs. Whether we are doctors or just corner shop helpers. Especially that we are paying rather expensively after all. I do think many of them are ungrateful of their opportunities and only boastful at playing the hands of God.
think you need to go try doctors polyclinic, they have really helpful staff...its opposite abu hamour petrol station.... 44162525 thats the number i think
alkhor is a small town, while doha is a big city.
being a small town, definitely less stress for people and in a big city more stress. that is why the doctors are nice in alkhor than in doha
but is it possible to travel from doha to alkhor just to see a smiling doctor
I agree about alkhor!! my husband works there ;p
we r number one
Last year my dad had a TIA (transient Ischemic attack/ mild stroke). He was rushed to HMC and i was with him at that time. From the Health Centre to HMC, he was well cared for.I still remember the driver of the ambulance was a Kabayan (good fellow). The para medic attending to him was a syrian (very good guy).At HMC he was handled by a Cuban Doc. (Doc Salazar.very wonderful person). Most of the nurses were Indian, (they just did a wonderful job). the Med tech (volunteer) was a filipina (a very kind lady.she couldn't extract blood from my dad, so i did it for her). The rest of the Pinay nursing staff once they knew i am a doctor just did a very good job.
Thank you HMC (and the 5:00pm duty shift on may 05, 2010 at the emergency dept. )
Naseem Center

Apollo & Al rafa are very expensive, and most of the doctors are with RUDE behevior
