I always see cars speeding along this street past the camera (between al waab st and salwa rd) where the limit is 50 during the roadworks... today again i saw cars speeding past but this time i noticed that the speed camera has been painted red and yellow. I wonder if it is working again?? does anyone know?

The limit is still kept 80KM/H but you have an grace limit of 5, where you can drive up to 85KM/H if you go beyond that it will flash you.

Speeding fine is not a set amount. It varies according to the over speed.

Just do it 80, and you are good to go!

out of curiousity... how much is the fine? is it a set limit or is it determined by how much over you are?

haha, well, it must be that long since i've been down this street.... i use to drive thru there every day but this was the first time i noticed it

it's annoying when you're trying to stick to the limit in case the camera is working and all the other cars are still overtaking... i guess they will either all get fined or the camera's still not working, lol

thanks :-)

speed cant be constant, it varies somehow could be more than 50 even 70... so in that case drive should take care of passerby & himself!!

and its been painted red for the last 2 months, now....

Generally I have noticed, that when there are road works, they don't set the traps....

I stand corrected though.
