Maria Aragon, a ten-year-old Filipino-Canadian, has not only moved Lady Gaga, but also wowed a popular US talk show, "Ellen".
After getting a personal invitation from Lady Gaga to sing “Born This Way” with her in an upcoming Toronto concert, Maria has again achieved another milestone.The young singer has appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, February 22.Ellen did not hide her admiration for Maria, who both sang and played keyboards during the live telecast.
Maria also shared that she still could not believe that Lady Gaga actually liked her version of “Born This Way.” A video of her singing the Lady Gaga song uploaded to YouTube moved the pop star to tears. Days after Lady Gaga viewed Maria’s performance, both were conversing in a radio show aired from Winnipeg with the famous artist praising Maria, saying she reminded her why she was writing songs(Glenda Villena).

Viewed her videos in YouTube and she's good but I'm sorry to say that there's nothing really special with her voice. Just a kid who knows to sing.
And of course, Lady Gaga and Elen Degeneres likes her and her voice...but other than that, what else would make her stand out?
I'm happy that Filipino talents are being recognized (the likes of BILLY CRAWFORD, CHARICE PEMPENGCO, LANI MUSALUCHA, to name a few)...but unless you got your own style and unique characteristics...you're just a "flash in the pan".
