can a Non Resident of Qatar open a bank account

I have a Candidate that is looking to open a bank account in Qatar we are unsure if he can as he would just be in Qatar on a visit visa

YES, You Can.
I don't know about other Banks. But Go to Doha Bank.
You can open only Current A/C
Documents Required
1) Valid Passport Copy
2) VISIT VISA Copy (Visit VISA sponsor should be Employer/Company)
2) Appointment Order from the Qatar Employer
3) Request letter from the Employer Stating you QID is in Process
4) One month Salary Slip.
same as my friend im here working in Business visa.. he's also can open an account as the bank are looking for Qatar ID card or visa on passport.
You need residence to open the account, but you are allowed to keep the account open once you leave.
You have to have residency ID-meaning
a visitor can't open up an account
Not Possible.
Only those with a valid RP (or working visa) are entitled/allowed to opne bank account in Qatar. (Conditions apply)
