Visa on Arrival in Dubai when Qatar RP expires in 3 months 15 days?
Hello,
I intend to travel this weekend on 24th Feb by Fly Dubai, and take a visa on arrival at Dubai T2. I have done this twice earlier, but this time, my visa validity on date of travel will be 3 months and 15 days. I shall return back in two days.
I have been reading about 3 months being the minimum requirement for travel, could someone please assure me from experience that 3.5 months validity is not too close to minimum for visa on arrival?
(No, I will not/cannot hold you accountable. :P)
Since u r the sales rep of flydubai, can u also tell me if the designation also matters for obtaining visa on arrival at dubai, i heard that only manager category will get the visa on arrival while my title is financial analyst.
jailalala, Thank you very very much! :D That made my day!
What a relief! Will note the number down for future reference!
Hey,
I am the sales representative for flydubai here in Doha, and regarding this doubt of yours, i will be the best person to ask. :)
Here it is,
travelling to Dubai via Flydubai, at the time of travel: your passport must be valid for 6 months and Resident Permit must be valid for 3 months minimum.
For this travel, you mentioned that your RP is still valid for more than 3 months, hence you will be able to travel without any problems at the immigration provided all your documents are in place and you've checked the validity of your passport.
Hope this helps.

*El Gato, my bad!
Thank you for the response, El Qato!
Ah, I did email Fly Dubai for this, but all they said was that I should contact the Embassy (which I've been lazy enough to not do), or opt for their sponsored visa, which doesn't help my cause at all. Have booked tickets already, so hope its not a big gamble. :)
Panchash, I think that depends on what country Resident Permit you have. For Qatar RP, I have taken visa on arrival in Dubai on this January 8th, (visa validity upto 11th June), meaning about 5 months of validity.
So if the rules have not changed, less than 6 months but more than 3 months is not a problem if your resident permit is from Qatar.
You should get visa on arrival provided your visa category requirements are fulfilled!
Sorry, I don't have answer to your question but as you have used Visa on arrival mode at Dubai, I have question.
I heard that 6 months validity is must for visa on arrival. Is it true ?
I intend to travel on March 25th and my RP validity is just 20 days shorter that 6 months requirement. Will Visa on arrival be granted in my case ?
Thanks
The rule says your good to go, if the RP is valid a minimum of 3 months. However pls contact the Fly Dubai Airport office and get their confirmation before you actually book your tickets. If they say no, check with air arabia.
