Three-time FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldo, whose goalscoring genius led Brazil to the 2002 World Cup title, confirmed his retirement.

Always loved his dribbles... he had some unconventional moves...
Great player. Even when he came back from all those injuries
he is perhaps the best striker of our times after the arsenal legend Thiery Henry...his goals at barsa were breathtaking..a true legend who didnt do justice to his talents...
Amazing at his peak, but the last few years have been disappointing. Too many off field distractions. he will be missed though ..
In my opinion,i think he was in best shape when he was at PSV as well as Barca.
when he was at his best was when he was at Barcelona. Watch some of his goals on You Tube, early to mid 90's just before he started suffering from injuries.
Awesome, just awesome, had everything a striker needs, and in abundance - speed, strength, agility, good in the air, could finish with either foot. And did I mention he was quick?
This is also how we will remember Ronaldo as well.
