CD ROM not shown???

i withdrawl my cdrom for a little time now whenever i power on my PC ,CDROM automatically opened and is not shown in my computer, remember that i pluged the 2 cables data cable and power cable already. If any solution?? with regard

Suppose there is NO WAY to plug the power cable mistakelly, but in some cases , try to check that the Red-line of the power cable is facing the data cable

CD rom is fine i dont know the driver name just know little bit about LG DVD multi recorder(compact disc Rewritable) am not finding driver. did window7 not supporting it directly? and give me also other ways to finish this problem b/c after 3 hours dad will came and if he saw this wrong CDROm opening and closing (dancing) booo.... he will make me michael jackson. its funny but serious . waiting for good thanx

it looks the CD-ROM is faulty.. suggest to check with other drive.. :-)

There are no drivers for CD-ROMs!

Did you check the Device Manager? I think the drivers will be missing.
