True Grit - Movie remakes
One of my favourite all time movies is being remade..
Tru Grit ...... John Wayne's best movie.
It seems that the remake trend is taking off agian..
New versions of The Green Hornet, Judge Dredd and Superman are also on the way..
Going back to True Grit ....
Does anyone remeber the movie ?
Do you usually prefer remakes or the original ?
aarrrgghh, I can see I have a lot of downloading to do.. :P
lol choco! hahahaha
Kato? I thought that was Inspector Clouseau's houseboy.
He may have been a nancy boy with pecs, but he was a great human being and I really admired the way he handled himself after the accident..
yes MJ, Bruce Lee was Green Hornet's sidekick as Kato
Dont remember the Movie but remember that Neo Con John Wayne.. Always used to like him as young boy.. Then when I heard his statements in real life kind of shattered my image of this great actor...:(
Lol brit, I guess I don't know my superheroes too well.
Christopher Reeve was my only superhero... swooooon....
Bruce Lee was in Green Hornet??? :P
I give up :O(
Ben Afleck was Daredevil.... Not The Green Hornet.
The Green Hornet was a TV series in the late sixties with Bruice lee as the sidekick...
as pathetic as it seems seth rogen is the green hornet :(
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0990407/
Green Hornet was Ben Affleck?
Compared to John Wayne , Reeve was a nancy boy..
You must remember the Green Hornet though...
yes chocoholic that's the one where he wore an eyepatch
It is what you learn from movie, most the American movies increase your brain flatness
i guess i have to get a copy of the first True Grit then.
and Tobey Maguire will always be Peter Parker.
Oh wait this is about True Grit. I think I must have seen it on tv once but don't remember it at all.
Did John Wayne wear an eyepatch?
1969 flick? my mom was born 1970..LOL..
baldrick, I agree with you on that...
Christopher Reeve....swooooon....
have you seen the first True Grit tink?
Christopher Reeve will ALWAYS be Superman. Any remake will be a pale imitation :o(
brit, I knew it, older than me.. a 1969 flick... I will try to download it sometime.. and then I might just watch the remake too since Matt Damon is in it.. :P
I don't think John Wayne is a good actor, he is red neck.
What's that movie all about?:) first time i heard that..
anyway,it depends upon the twist in the remake, almost always originals are better but remakes are beautiful if portrayed by a very good actor & directed by someone really creative but keep the story intact..
True Grit with John Wayne as marshal, "Rooster" Cogburn was superb..
Great scene with him astride a horse riding into the badies with both guns firing..
Watch it if you get the chance..
never heard, never seen but if u recommend i might.
I think I wasn't even born yet when this movie was made... but in most cases, I always prefer the originals...
