hi. im sienna and im planning to go on visit visa to qatar. im in the philippines right now. i would like to ask how i can get one? i want to go and job hunt there. i dont have any relatives in qatar. your replies will be much appreciated. thank you.

yup you can still enter qatar at no worries at all,, 1st locate the validity of your previous visa written on the copy,, normally it only has a 6month validity,so if your previous visa was issued last august, it will expire at around the month of february.. if a visa was not used or process within its validity, it automatically expires. just wait it out so you can use your new entry visa.

Hi!

Please help, I am new here in QL and needs information regarding entry visa. I have this situation. I was offered a job in qatar last year (august 2010) here in the Philippines. but I withdrew to the job offer due to family reasons and low salary last october 2010 thru the recruitment agency. unknowingly, an entry visa was applied and issued by the employer without my knowledge and the agency. recently, i applied for a job and luckily i passed and got an offer from a new employer. i have processed all the requirements and finally passed medical exam. when the new employer was applying for an entry visa, i was rejected by the immigration of qatar for i was been issued an entry visa by the previous employer. i have asked the agency to contact the previous employer to cancel the visa so that i may be able to have a new visa but till now no response. i did not use the visa and have never enter qatar.

my question is:

1. usually, how long is the validity of an entry visa?

2. what would happen if I did not use the entry visa?

3. is it automatically expires and cancelled?

4. is the new employer may still be able to apply me a new visa?

Please help me for I really need this job.

Thank you.

i just wanna ask what are the possible questions they would ask at the NAIA for VIsit Visa?... Tnx

1st question, after 4 months ako bumalik,,i have to finish things first kaya d ako agad bumalik..

2nd question, sa passport mo there wouldn't be any problem just make sure it is still valid for at least 1 year or 2. mine will expire on 2012 so im still using the old one,,

3rd,, nope i didn't go to finger printing so your 100% excempted from the ban like i am, i know malaki mgagastos so keep on asking,,

4th, the reason kung bakit may na dedeny sa airport is this,, once you get a visit visa,, make sure its a 2-way ticket or else khit ano pkita mo sa immigration they would not honor it,,its an assurance that you can come back,, they want to make sure also about your security and safety,, and must have a valid reason why you are visiting qatar,, they maybe mean when they ask question, but its their way of knowing the truth..

just an info, many of our kababayans are at polo who are seeking assistance beacause they didn't find luck here in doha. don't listen to much on "sabi nila" or tsismis,, know the legal process and you will be safe..unfortunately khit dumaan ka sa legal process natin minsan may flaws prin pagdating dito qatar.

keep asking questions,, let's help others the way we can.

as long as you haven't took the finger printing you won't be attached to the "ban" policy,, its the legal process here in doha so no worries.. no need to cancel visa also because they haven't processed it in the first place.. visa's also have expirations if they were not processed. enjoy ka muna dyan pinas then come back.. just make sure that everything is legal so no problem when you get back here. i know because also done the same thing, after resigning from my former employer last 2010 i went back here in doha last year also, without problems with my papers. palipas ka muna khit 2 months pero lakarin mo na mga papers mo, i wish everything to go smoothly when you get back here in doha..

possible questions or common question from immigration in pinas....1) where are u going?Answer...Qatar 2) what you will do there? Answer....I will try my luck to find a good job as i am jobless here in pinas and cant afford to help my family....3) are u going to work there? Answer ...yes if there is chance to get a good job then why not...4) you have family ,relatives there?Yes...5) where is the proof of that u have family, relatives or friends there? Answer ...show the passport copy,ID, and affidavit of support from the person who wants to bring u here in Qatar as a proof.... Its better to tell the truth than lying...bcz they know already that all of us come to Qatar for work for our future....for our family....Immigration will not allowed u to come in if u make lie they like to tell the truth.....and be firm to your answer...speak clearly...with a smile... gudluck...
