It's a risk for sure Arien, but at the same time people are living a lot longer these days. My grandparents both died in their early 90's. If this woman lives to be 92 say her daughter will be 25 when she dies, so at least she's not leaving her a helpless child.

She shouldnt have gone for it at this age. The kid is gona be momless any moment. secondly the chances of giving birth to another autistic kid or one with downsyndrome was too high.

It's not a choice I can see myself making at her age...but the daughter looks happy and healthy, so all the best to them. I hope the mother lives well in her hundreds :)

My guess is she couldn't have children, and only in her 60's did they have the medical ability and her enough money to allow her to.
