Hi...
I am working in Qatar a company. i transfered my visa to my current employer six months back. now i got a better offer from Dubai. can i go to Dubai directly from Qatar without cancel my Qatar visa? or is there any right to get release from my employer? i signed 2 year agreement with my current employer. please give me a reply.
Thnx
.Thanks for your reply.i heard there is a new rule regarding this without cancellation employment visa in any GCC country we can't enter in any other GCC country. is it true?? pls advice..
Thnx
For UAE no need to cancel Qatar employment visa to stamp UAE Visa
For UAE no need to cancel Qatar employment visa to stamp Qatar Visa. This rule is only in Saudi and Qatar(ie if you have other RP you need to cancel before stamping local RP). However it is better always to cancel the Qatar Visa or else you will have problem in case you need to travel to Qatar for business purposes.
In 2003 I moved to Bahrain without cancelling the visa and landed in trouble when I made a business visit to Qatar later. However there was no problem for me in Bahrain to stamp their visa like in UAE.

some companies will just let you go while other will going to ask you to pay the remaining of your contract...
Kindly read the discretions of your contract...and you'll find the answer there for sure.
So can i cancel from the company now? is there any issue regarding this? coz of my 2 year agreement? please advice.
thnxx
You have to resign from the current job and give them a month notice. They will cancel your visa and then you are free to go anywhere in the world. No need to ask any NOC and mention about your next job.
Your Qatar visa will be canceleed once you resign to your actual employer or once you leave for good.
You are not entitled to keep two GCC RP at the same time (This is what I have read before)
As to the release issue : No you don;'t have the right to get it.... you either get fired or resign.
Regards!!
you will not be given a working visa in dubai unless your qatari visa is cancelled.
