Diploma Problem
My employer to be is asking my diploma authenticated at our Philippine embassy here in Doha. My problem is I don't have my original diploma, and what I have is only a scanned copy. Would they allow to authenticate a scanned copy of a diploma? If not, what are my options? Thanks kabayan!
They're asking for a certified true copy and not the original ones. Cost of the authentication at the embassy is 100QR and 20QR at the Ministry of Passport Affairs.
yes i am sure for that, becoz i did that for only past 2weeks. After the authentication of the CHED and DFA that's the time you can bring it to Qatar's embassy, i thought its located in Makati. And then your family can mail it to you with already authenticated of Qatar's embassy. got it?

eickhaj is right you have to go your school and have a request slip for authentication and then go to CHED and they are the one who will send it to DFA that's the procedure to follow.
DEEEYYM!!! So how long does it take you to get it? I was directly hired here in Doha and didn't go thru the process of authenticating documents. Now they are asking me for these. Can I just bring my original diploma in our embassy here in Doha and authenticate it there? Is that the only option? Are you sure about that?
they will authenticate your original diploma only if it is already authenticated by the CHED in our country and then with the authentication also of the DFA.
At first, you will bring your original diploma in Comission On HIgher Education (CHED) then the CHED will 4ward the diploma in DFA. Department Of Foreign Affairs. and Then thats the time that the DFA will forward your Diploma To Qatar Embassy in Country, and then you can ask your family to mail your Diploma. The Qatar Embassy did'nt authenticate your diploma if there's no authentication from the CHED and DFA. based on my experienced kabayan!
My family in the Philippines are the one who precessed for that since I am here in Doha.

no they will not allow as the authentication is carried on original certificate only, not on scanned copy
get ur original diploma certificate from phillipines by courier or anyother means.
