...it's arab culture, we'r in the host country, just let it be that way. besides there are more other places where bachelor can enjoy! ~ during family days.

@Isobel: "bachelors don't generate income like families do."

I'm a bachelor and have plenty money to spend :o)

It's only 'certain types' of bachelor they don't want in there, and we all know which type.

If they are stopping Asians on the plea to ensure safety to ladies, not a right idea. No Asian can dare to harass any Qatari lady. These are only Qataris or the other Arab Nationals who pretend their-self as Qatari. They are the one doing this type of things and No one from the security can stop them.

@ Isobel, spot on & thank you for raising the most valid points here...i have said on every similar thread i've posted on & i say it again,Dubai has FAR more bachelors than Qatar does YET they don't have this "family day" nonsense implemented anywhere...why? because the bachelors in question have ALTERNATIVE venues of entertainment,be it areas/shops,cheap restaurants/bars & everything else so why should they bother travelling to Dubai Mall to grope women?...exactly...

If you notice the security guards are also mostly Asian. They are only enforcing the orders handed down from the top.

Malls/shops are there to make money and bachelors don't generate income like families do.

However, I do think the people who own and run the camps these bachelors 'exist' (we can't say live) on do something at the weekend to make the lives of these bachelors better. These men have so little to do, so of course they want to walk around Malls etc.

As for the poster who alleged she was 'abused' by a bachelor...I was chatted up/stalked/abused by a Qatari in Carrefoue mid week!

Creeps are creeps and the same the world over.

Seriously you should have just whacked the guy.

XXXpat I was on the Corniche and the mess being caused was not by the Bachelors who were just enjoying a stroll but by certain families picnicking and just threw their rubbish on the grass instead of the bin 4 metres away.

Why not just ban litter bugs and spitters from public areas? That would be good!

She'd rather not take the chance, and we also don't agree in the "No Asian Male Bachelor Day".

Sorry you had that experience. But I am sure you agree that all should not be punished.

Up until yesterday I was against family days, but after being groped in Souq Waqif last night by a sick pervert, I understand why single men are not allowed - it may just be a handful who ruin it for everyone, but I don't care, I do NOT want to experience that again!

to be clear what I meant is if these so called "family days" meant to allow only families or to prevent access to male bachelors who are only from Asian countries Specially countries like from SriLanka, India or Bangladesh?
