Relocating to Doha - Qatar

Dear All,
I have been offered a job in Doha and its a telecom company. I am currently based in India.

The hiring company is offering me 15000 Riyal per month and other benefits like relocation, Health Care for my self and my family.

Is this is a very good offer for a 5 years experienced person and will I be able to sustain with my family(Married + 1 (8 months) Kid)?

what is average cost of living for a family like this and accomodation (1 bedroom) and transport allowance.

howz the life in Doha..is it like very open and my family will be safe ?

Please guide.

Hi, first of all Congrats!

Well, 15k is a fairly a good salary, (I guess ur total pkg is 15k (Salary+ Accommodation),

A 2 BR flat will be 3000-4000k + water+ Electricity+ Phone, Internet will be another 500-600,

so indeed u can save min. of 5000-7000 after deducting all ur expenses.

It's always a matter of comparison of alternatives; and for that you are the only one to decide.

However, for theis package with your family conditions, yes you can make good money out of it.
